THE IRON ORE CARRIER SOUTHERN BELLE, IS ACTUALLY A SHIP DESIGNED FOR THE CARRIAGE OF WOOD CHIPS HENCE THE THREE MOVABLE FILLING SHUTES TO SPREAD THE LOAD IN THE HOLDS. JUST FOUND YOUR SITE VIA AIS, VERY GOOD PICTURES, I AM NEW TO COMPUTERS, AND ALTHOIGH I HAVE A DIGITAL CAMERA I CANT USE IT PROPERLY, I MAY HAVE TO GO TO EVENING CLASS. hi. the shot of the "southern belle" is of a woodchip carrier, not an iron ore carrier. an ore carrier would be very rare in ireland, they dont have any steelworks! regards, ron
